Celluma LED Light Therapy

Target Breakouts. Soften Fine Lines. Support Healthier-Looking Skin.

Discover a gentle approach to clearer, smoother-looking skin at SKIN MED SPA. Celluma LED Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to help manage acne and improve the appearance of aging skin—without needles or routine downtime.

What Is Celluma LED Light Therapy?

Celluma is a non-invasive treatment that uses light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, to deliver controlled wavelengths of light to the skin. This process, known as photobiomodulation, supports natural cellular activity.

Depending on the treatment program, Celluma combines blue, red and near-infrared light to address concerns such as acne, fine lines and uneven texture. It does not use ultraviolet light.

What Are the Benefits of Celluma LED Light Therapy?

Help Manage Acne Breakouts

Blue light targets bacteria associated with acne, while red light helps address inflammation. Together, they may help reduce mild to moderate inflammatory breakouts and improve overall skin appearance.

Improve the Appearance of Fine Lines

Red and near-infrared light support processes involved in collagen production and skin renewal, helping soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over a treatment series.

Support Smoother-Looking Skin

Celluma may help improve skin texture and firmness, making it an option for clients noticing early signs of aging.

Gentle Treatment Without Routine Downtime

LED therapy does not puncture or remove the skin. Most clients can return to their usual activities immediately afterward.

Who Is Celluma LED Light Therapy For?

Celluma may suit:

Adults with mild to moderate inflammatory acne who want additional support alongside an appropriate skincare or medical treatment plan.

Clients noticing early signs of aging, including fine lines and changes in skin texture.

People seeking a non-invasive treatment without needles or routine recovery time.

Clients maintaining their skin between other treatments, where combining treatments is appropriate.

LED therapy is not a replacement for medical assessment of severe, painful or scarring acne. We’ll help determine whether it belongs in your treatment plan.

What to Expect from Celluma: Before, During & After Treatment

Before Your Session

Tell us about your medications, supplements, light sensitivity and medical conditions. Arrive with clean skin, or we’ll prepare the treatment area before your session.

During Your Session

The Celluma panel is positioned close to the treatment area. You’ll relax while the selected light program runs, following the device’s eye-safety instructions.

Treatment is generally comfortable. Some clients notice mild warmth.

After Your Session

Most clients can resume their normal activities immediately. Continue the skincare and sun-protection routine recommended by your provider.

Temporary pinkness may occur. Let us know if you experience discomfort or an unexpected skin reaction.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Celluma works best as a consistent treatment series rather than an occasional session. Your recommended frequency and number of visits will depend on your concerns and how your skin responds.

We’ll discuss your schedule and any maintenance treatments during your consultation.

When Will I See Results?

Results develop gradually with consistent treatment. Changes in breakouts, texture and fine lines are assessed over several weeks rather than after a single visit.

Individual results vary. Your skincare routine, underlying concerns and treatment consistency can affect your outcome.

Can Celluma Be Combined with Other Treatments?

Celluma may complement selected facials and other skin treatments. Your provider will confirm whether the combination and timing are appropriate for your skin and the procedures involved.

Is Celluma Right for Everyone?

Celluma can be considered for a range of skin tones, but it is not suitable for everyone.

Certain medications that increase light sensitivity, a history of seizures, steroid injections and known cancer in the treatment area may prevent treatment. Pregnancy and breastfeeding require additional assessment and treatment-area restrictions.

We review these considerations before recommending a session.
